In Kyzylorda, the first deputy director of the main gas pipeline management department of JSC «Intergas Central Asia» N. Nurbolatuly was sentenced for fraud in the construction of a factory gas pipeline.
According to the press service of Anticor, he was found guilty of causing damage to LLP «Orda Glass Ltd» in the amount of 60.1 million tenge.
It is reported that the defendant inflated the estimated cost and signed fictitious acts of completed work for the project "Construction of a supply gas pipeline for the reserve gas supply of the Glass Factory". In addition, he was convicted of intentional damage to state property.
The court found Nurbolatuly guilty and sentenced him to 2 years and 6 months of imprisonment with a ban on holding positions in quasi-public sector entities for 3 years.
Recall that the former Minister of National Economy, Kuandyk Bishimbayev, convicted of murdering his wife, was caught in 2017 attempting to embezzle 1.2 billion tenge during the construction of the glass factory in Kyzylorda.
During the trial in this case, it was noted that the fraud was carried out through the subsidiary LLP «Orda Glass» and LLP «Shymkenthimmontazh». The court then found Bishimbayev guilty and sentenced him to 10 years in a penal colony.
