From 2025, high-ranking officials, deputies and judges in Kazakhstan will begin publishing their income and asset declarations in the public domain. This was announced at a government briefing.
According to the publication Atameken Business, Finance Minister Madi Takiyev stated that declarations must be submitted by 15 September, and their publication will take place before the end of the year. According to him, data for the previous calendar year will be made available in open sources.
“Any movements regarding assets are entered into the declaration. Salaries are not indicated in it,” the minister clarified.
Deputy Prime Minister Serik Zhumangarin added that the personnel services of ministries will additionally publish information on property transactions carried out by civil servants.
This means that citizens will be able to learn about the income and assets of the country's top officials — an important step towards transparency in government.
