The court has authorised the seizure of property and assets belonging to the head of the public charitable foundation «BizBirgemiz Qazaqstan» Perizat Kairat, who is suspected of embezzling more than 1.7 billion tenge.
According to the press service of the Agency for Financial Monitoring (AFM), the court seized elite real estate in the capital’s «Akbulak Riviera», «Highvill Ishim Gold», «Kök Zhailau» (including parking spaces), «Sensata Plaza», as well as in the cottage village «Vela Village».
Additionally, the vehicles Mercedes-Benz S450, Mercedes-Benz EQE 500, Lexus LX-600 and Haval were also seized.
During searches at Perizat Kairat’s place of residence, law enforcement officers seized expensive equipment, clothing, footwear, jewellery, and bags from global brands such as Cartier, Graff, Rolex, Bulgari, Gucci, Louis Vuitton, Versace, Chopard, Hermes, Dolce & Gabbana, Prada, and others.
The seized property has been added to the case file and recognised as material evidence. Their fate will be determined by the court.

Recall that Perizat Kairat is suspected of embezzling funds raised to help citizens affected by the spring floods, as well as for humanitarian aid to the residents of Palestine.
It was reported that she used the majority of the donations to purchase luxury items and real estate. Furthermore, the suspect used the donations to travel abroad on holiday on several occasions, staying in five-star hotels.
