Prosecutors in the Abai region have uncovered inflated salaries for the heads of MSE "Ayagoz Su" at the expense of ordinary workers.

It is reported that over the course of a year, the director's salary increased from 286 thousand tenge to 402 thousand tenge.

"After the prosecutor's office intervened, the salaries of the enterprise's managers were brought into line with the law, and the wages of 58 workers were increased by 22 thousand tenge", the statement said.

In addition, prosecutors uncovered an unjustified increase in the water tariff set by MSE "Ayagoz Su".

"The MSE on the Right of Economic Management 'Ayagoz Su', in violation of the requirements of the Law 'On Natural Monopolies', charged a fee of 202 tenge per cubic metre of drinking water", the press service of the department reported.

It has come to light that from 2022 to 2023, the enterprise unjustifiably received 35.2 million tenge.

Following a prosecutor's order, the authorised body introduced a temporary water tariff of 167 tenge per 1 m3
