The Aktau Prosecutor’s Office conducted an analysis of compliance with legislation regarding the payment of wages at Mangystau OilRefining LLP, which is engaged in oil refining.
According to the Mangystau Regional Prosecutor’s Office, from January to March the company failed to pay wages to 241 employees. The total amount of debt amounted to 197 million tenge.
“As a result of the prosecutorial oversight measures taken, the constitutional rights of the workers were protected by the full payment of wages,” the statement said.
In turn, the company’s management, which allowed the delay in payments, was brought to administrative responsibility.
Earlier, the Taraz Prosecutor’s Office identified violations of labour and pension legislation requirements, resulting in the violation of the rights of 742 citizens. It became known that Zhasyl El Taraz LLP, which is engaged in city cleaning and landscaping, had not transferred mandatory pension contributions for 605 employees in the amount of 24 million tenge since the beginning of the year.
