Fines for the school director were paid by teachers in the Mangystau region

In the Mangystau Region, the school administration is suspected of collecting money from teachers.

“The Prosecutor’s Office of the Munaily District, following an inspection of the State Institution ‘Special School No. 3’, identified a number of legal violations on the part of the institution’s management”, a press service representative of the regional prosecutor’s office reported.

It was reported that school employees, using the “Kaspi bank” and “Halyk bank” applications, transferred money to the institution’s management on a monthly basis.

“Furthermore, instances of illegal transfer of funds were established, based on the issuance of formal orders and the awarding of inflated bonuses to certain individuals”, the statement said.

Additionally, it emerged that the school director forced subordinates to pay administrative fines imposed on him.

“Regarding the fact of abuse of official powers, a pre-trial investigation has been initiated against the officials of the aforementioned special school under Article 361 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan”, the department reported.
