The Tolebi District Court of the Turkestan Region fined a local blogger for disobeying lawful orders from police officers.

According to the Telegram channel "Otyrar", the incident occurred on 17 April in the village of Birinshi Mamyr. Police officers stopped a Lada car for a traffic violation — the driver was not wearing a seatbelt.

At that moment, the blogger started a live broadcast on Facebook, did not comply with the lawful orders of the police, obstructed them in the performance of their duties, and, as stated in the case materials, showed disrespect towards representatives of the authorities.

In the end, the court found the blogger guilty and imposed a fine of 30 MCI (117,960 tenge).

Her guilt was confirmed by video recordings from the scene and witness testimony. The court's decision has not yet come into legal force and may be appealed.

Previously, in Almaty, blogger Dariga Nurkeeva, known by the pseudonym "Darikorn", was brought to administrative responsibility for a traffic violation. The young woman deliberately changed lanes without signalling, thereby creating a dangerous situation. She filmed everything on video and posted it on social media.
