The head of the land relations department of the Aktobe region, Nurbol Yerzhanov, reported that since the beginning of the year, 128,900 hectares of agricultural land have been returned to state ownership in the region. He noted that the Ministry of Agriculture had previously approved a plan to return 160,000 hectares by the end of the year.

According to the press service of the regional akimat, experts still need to inspect another 94 plots with a total area of 176,400 hectares. It has become known that following last year's inspection, 53 plots were brought into compliance with requirements, four plots were returned to the state, and penalty sanctions were applied to three plots.

"Work is also being carried out with the tax authorities. Thus, taxes amounting to 22 million tenge have been accrued on 20 plots over three years," the head of the department reported.

As part of improving pasturelands, pasture management plans have been developed in the districts. Currently, the projects are under consideration in local maslikhats. At the same time, a shortage of pastures is noted in the Alga and Martuk districts, where work is underway to expand areas using returned and reserve lands.

Special attention was paid to issues of water protection zones. It is reported that the region has 13,000 hectares of water fund lands; however, outside of Aktobe, work to enter objects into the information system has not yet been carried out.

In this regard, the akim of the Aktobe region, Askhat Shakharov, instructed that efforts to clarify the boundaries of water protection zones be intensified.

"The issue of reclamation of disturbed lands has also been raised. In 2025, 4 reclamation projects were approved for an area of 535,000 hectares. Also, the lease term for 10 plots has expired, but the lands have not been returned to state ownership," he noted.

Furthermore, the regional akim instructed to strengthen monitoring of the targeted use of lands, promptly respond to public complaints, and place the execution of all instructions under special control.

Recall that it was previously reported that since the beginning of the year, the prosecutor's office of the North Kazakhstan region has returned to state ownership 36 land plots with a total area of 33,200 hectares that were not used for their intended purpose. Their total cadastral value amounted to 29.8 billion tenge.
