In Almaty and seven regions of Kazakhstan, targets for the sorting, processing and disposal of municipal waste have not been met. To develop the necessary infrastructure in these regions, 23 projects have been announced, including the construction of sorting and processing facilities, as well as the purchase of specialised machinery.
