The prosecutor's office has raised the issue of land near the anthrax burial site in Kosshy
More than 500 houses in the "Chistye Prudy" district of the town of Kosshy have ended up next to an animal burial site where animals that died of anthrax were interred. The prosecutor's office of Akmola Region has now asked for the legal status of this territory to be reviewed. It transpired that previous rulings establishing sanitary protection zones had been revoked, and no new act from the authorised body had ever appeared.
