Uzbekistan and China discussed oil and gas projects against the backdrop of the Aral story
Uzbekistan and China's CNPC discussed supplies of oil products, geological exploration and new projects in the oil and gas industry. At the same time, the previous project to search for hydrocarbons in the Uzbek part of the Aral Sea was deemed economically unviable and was wound up in 2017.
