MPs criticised Kazakhstan's draft budget for 2027
Kazakhstan's draft budget for 2027–2029 has been criticised in the Kurultai for lacking a margin of financial resilience. Kurultai Deputy Speaker Daniya Yespayeva pointed to the ceiling level of expenditure and deficit, the possible growth of the deficit under an unfavourable scenario and the high debt burden.
