The National Security Committee has suppressed illegal arms trafficking in Kazakhstan.
In July, operational search measures were carried out in Almaty, Shymkent and 8 regions of Kazakhstan to suppress the illegal circulation of weapons. As a result of the operation, 31 units of weapons, as well as 2 grenades and 278 rounds of ammunition, were seized.
