Lawyers have raised concerns about possible pressure on teenagers in the case of a policeman's murder in the Almaty region.
In the case of the death of 37-year-old police officer Aslan Alserov, whose burnt body was found on 23 June in the mountains of the Almaty region, new statements have emerged from the defence of the minor defendants. Lawyers claim that during the investigation, pressure may have been put on the teenagers, and the first interrogation of one of them took place without a lawyer present.
