The authorities have confirmed flooding and erosion of a section of road in the Akzhar district of the North Kazakhstan region. A build-up of water occurred near the village of Bostandyk. It is reported that the flooding is linked to intensive snowmelt and the inflow of floodwaters.

The FBRK editorial office has received video recordings showing water flooding the countryside. The footage is believed to have been taken in the area between the villages of Mayskoye and Bostandyk in the Akzhar district of the North Kazakhstan region.
