The management of the veterinary service of the Turkestan region is suspected of illegal payments amounting to 928 million tenge.
The Prosecutor's Office of the Turkestan Region has uncovered a scheme involving the embezzlement of 928 million tenge in the activities of the State Communal Enterprise on the Right of Economic Management "Veterinary Service". According to the investigation, between 2022 and 2025, officials entered false information into payment documents, allowing funds to be transferred without the actual provision of services or delivery of goods. A criminal case has been registered under Article 189 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan, four suspects have been taken into custody, and investigative actions are ongoing.
