Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov has instructed that compensation be paid to those affected by the floods by the end of this week.
According to zakon.kz, approximately 1 billion tenge has been allocated so far for 3,500 affected families. Each of them will receive 100 MCI (369,200 tenge) for lost property.
In addition, those affected who have lost their homes are promised new houses or the purchase of ready-made properties on the real estate market.
