A set of sports kit, which was only issued to members of the Kazakhstan national team for participation in the Summer Olympic Games in Tokyo 2020 and Paris 2024, has been listed on a classified ads website. According to Offside kz, the seller is allegedly one of the Kazakh Olympians who decided to sell the kit. 
The set includes tracksuits and T-shirts, and the price for them is 140 thousand tenge.
“A seller named Yereke noted that these sets are not available for general sale and were only issued to athletes who represented Kazakhstan at the Olympic Games. In the ad description, he emphasised the exclusivity of the kit and stated that there would be no further opportunity to purchase it.”, the report said.
Additionally, the author of the ad has also listed other items for sale: gold jewellery, an iPhone 13 Pro Max, a sheepskin coat, and more.
It should be recalled that earlier, the silver medalist of the World Weightlifting Championships, Almas Uteshov, spoke in an interview about his life after sport. Uteshov now works as a security guard in Almaty. The athlete said that after many years of training, he had lost his health. He also complained that he had been forgotten.
