The enterprise appears on the list of 11 companies not under Russian jurisdiction that have been affected by Japanese restrictions.

As reported by ORDA, sanctions have also been imposed on companies from India, Kazakhstan, China, the UAE and Uzbekistan.

"The Japanese government stated that the sanctions are being introduced as part of the latest package of anti-Russian sanctions due to the situation in Ukraine," the report said.

It is worth recalling that in February 2024, the European Union published another package of sanctions against Russia and companies from Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, China, Iran, Turkey, and other countries linked to Russia.

Kazakhstan's Elem Group LLP also ended up on the sanctions lists. It was suspected of "supporting the Russian military-industrial complex" and "participating in the circumvention of trade restrictions."

At the same time, shortly before this, the Ministry of Trade reported that the company had not carried out any import or export activities since last year and is in the process of being liquidated.
