In the Atyrau region, an employee of the 'Government for Citizens' has been convicted. It is reported that she illegally helped police officers and teachers obtain state-owned apartments.
According to the Telegram channel 'Witness.kz', between 2022 and 2023, the defendant used her official powers to delete records of property owners from the information system.
Thanks to these manipulations, law enforcement officers and education workers gained the status of being in need of housing and the right to state-owned property.
It is reported that the defendant fully admitted her guilt. She confirmed that she used an IP address and an electronic digital signature to destroy legally protected information and enter false data into the information system.
The defendant noted that she has six minor children and asked not to be deprived of her freedom.
In the end, the court found her guilty and fined her 738,400 tenge. In addition, she was banned from holding positions with access to information and communication infrastructure in commercial or other organisations for one year.
