An inspection has been launched in Almaty into kindergarten No. 29 in Auezov District after a video circulated on social media showing a teacher using physical force against children. Previously, cockroaches were found in the canteen of this institution.
According to the Telegram channel «Syrmedia.kz», the Almaty education department reported that the police in Auezov District are conducting an investigation into the incident. It is noted that the suspect may be related to the head of the institution.
The head of the education department has placed the situation under special monitoring.
Incidentally, another video from the same kindergarten previously appeared on social media. The footage, shot in the canteen, showed cockroaches.
According to the Telegram channel «HALYQSTAN», the city education department confirmed the information, stating that the recording was made by an employee of the security company «Batyr KZ» back in September.
The department stated that disinfection and deratisation are carried out regularly, but noted that rubbish bins located near the kindergarten could be a source of insect migration.
However, parents and social media users criticised such explanations, pointing out that the sanitary condition of the internal premises should be ensured regardless of external factors.
The sanitary and epidemiological service of Auezov District is conducting an investigation into violations of sanitary standards.
