The Information Security Committee has initiated administrative proceedings against the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Agriculture, and the Ministry of Finance.
As reported by Informburo.kz citing the head of the Ministry of Digital Development, Innovation and Aerospace Industry (MDDAI) Zhaslan Madiyev, the departments violated the deadlines for the operation of information systems.
"The MDDAI, together with the e-government service integrator, is conducting an analysis of the published information on state information systems. Following the inspection, the department notifies state bodies of the need to correct errors.", the statement reads.
If the requirements are not heeded, the Information Security Committee may initiate another administrative case against these state bodies.
It is noted that, according to the information from the state bodies, the reasons for violating the operational deadlines are:
- budget sequestration at the stage of creating/developing the systems;
- difficulties in passing tests for compliance with information security requirements;
- change of ownership of the informatisation object during the creation or development of systems, which occurs due to the reorganisation and abolition of certain state bodies.
