Companies from Kazakhstan may fall under new European Union sanctions.
The European Union's (EU) top diplomat, Kaja Kallas, has stated that as part of preparations for the 21st package of sanctions against Russia, the restrictions could affect companies from a number of third countries, including Kazakhstan. This concerns new export control measures and restrictions on organisations which, in the EU's assessment, provide support to the Russian military-industrial complex.
