The reconstruction project of the Irtysh-Uspenka canal, costing 7.4 billion tenge, has been delayed for six years and is now expected to be completed in 2026. The facility is intended to supply water to agricultural lands in the Pavlodar region and increase the area of irrigated land to 10,000 hectares.
