The Ministry of Finance has put forward for discussion a requirement to include the TIN on receipts for medical services.
The Ministry of Finance of Kazakhstan has proposed requiring the patient’s IIN to be indicated on cash receipts when paying for medical services and purchasing medicines. The initiative is being discussed amid identified systemic violations in the compulsory social health insurance system and inspections in the healthcare sector.
