In the Bayanauyl National Park, cases of land grabbing, illegal construction, and allocation of plots without a tender have been identified.

According to the press service of the Pavlodar Regional Prosecutor's Office, measures are currently being taken to reclaim these lands and demolish unauthorised structures.

Furthermore, following a prosecutor's order, the Forestry Committee is working on approving tariffs for the provision of sites for tourist facilities.

It transpired that about 70 holiday homes, cafes, and restaurants had not paid for their leased land plots.

As a result, Bayanauyl National Park loses around 230 million tenge annually, funds that could have been allocated to conservation measures, employee bonuses, and so on.

For context, in September, it was reported that there were four cases of poaching on Lake Zhukey, which is located in the Burabay National Park in the Akmola Region.

In May, it became known that in Almaty, four violators were fined 1.4 million tenge for lighting a fire in the Ile-Alatau National Nature Park.
