Vice-Minister of Transport of the Republic of Kazakhstan detained on suspicion of corruption

The Anti-Corruption Service of the National Security Committee (NSC) has detained the Vice Minister of Transport of the Republic of Kazakhstan on suspicion of accepting a bribe. This was reported by the press service of the department. By court order, the official has been taken into custody.

Details of the case are not officially disclosed. The NSC explained that other information, in accordance with Article 201 of the Criminal Procedure Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan, is not subject to disclosure.
