In the Akmola Region, the akim of Stepnogorsk Gaidar Kasenov and the akim of the Bulandy District Ardak Smailov received reprimands for improper performance of their official duties.

According to the press service of the regional akimat, Kasenov was given a disciplinary sanction in the form of a reprimand for failing to exercise proper control over the activities of local executive bodies in matters of city improvement.

Smailov, in turn, was punished for failing to take timely flood prevention measures in the Bulandy District.

Earlier, at a meeting of the ethics commission of the Agency for Civil Service Affairs, the akim of Karaganda Meiram Kozhukhov received a disciplinary sanction in the form of a warning, and the akim of the Enbekshikazakh District of the Almaty Region, Talgat Baiedilov, was entirely recommended for dismissal.

The commission found that the actions of the akim of Karaganda caused negative reactions and criticism from citizens on social media. Violations of land legislation were identified in the actions of the akim of the Enbekshikazakh District.
