The head of the territorial veterinary inspection of the Ministry of Agriculture for Almaty has been held accountable following a supervisory act by the prosecutor's office.
According to the press service of the prosecutor's office of the Medeu District, the agency identified a case of illegal use of state property.
It emerged that the head of the veterinary control committee illegally provided a plot of land adjacent to the government building for a catering facility.
As a result, the prosecutor's office issued a supervisory act to the department of the Agency for Civil Service Affairs of Almaty.
“Following the recommendation of the Ethics Council, by order of the Committee for Veterinary Control and Supervision of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan, for committing a misconduct discrediting the civil service, expressed in the illegal assistance to an entrepreneur in obtaining income (subparagraph 5) of Part 1 of Article 50 of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan ‘On Civil Service of the Republic of Kazakhstan’), the head of the territorial inspection has been subjected to disciplinary action in the form of a ‘warning of incomplete official compliance’.”, the statement reads.
