In the village of Bozanbai, in the Ulansky district of the East Kazakhstan region, a tractor driver was killed while carrying out construction work.
According to the press service of the regional akimat, during the construction of water supply networks, the special equipment overturned into a trench. As a result of the incident, a man born in 1981, who leaves behind four children, was killed.
It became known that the work on the site was carried out by the contracting organisation LLP "TM Teplomir". The akim of the East Kazakhstan region, Nurymbet Saktaganov, the head of the state labour inspectorate, and the akim of the Ulansky district arrived at the scene of the tragedy.
The head of the region ordered an investigation into the activities of the company "TM Teplomir". If violations of safety requirements are identified, those responsible will be held accountable in accordance with current legislation.
"We have no right to leave such cases unattended. The true causes of what happened must be established," Saktaganov emphasised.
Furthermore, he instructed the akim of the Ulansky district to provide all necessary assistance and support to the family of the deceased. The circumstances of the incident are being clarified.
Recall that earlier it was reported that in the Tupkaragan district of the Mangystau region, an employee of a local enterprise died under the wheels of special equipment during repair work on a well.
In June, the district court found the foreman guilty of violating labour protection rules, which through negligence resulted in the death of a person, and sentenced him to 1 year in prison.
