Videos are circulating online from Taraz, allegedly showing the use of official vehicles for personal purposes.
According to ORDA, high-ranking officials arrived in official cars for the 60th birthday of the chairman of the Zhambyl Regional Court, Yerbol Akhmetzhanov.
The celebration took place at the restaurant "Baksarai". It is noted that around 80 guests attended the event, including representatives of the regional police and civil servants.
It thus emerged that the chairwoman of the Zhambyl District Court, Aigul Shymyrova, arrived at the restaurant in a Haval crossover. Notably, the vehicle is registered to the local akimat's department of culture and languages.
Journalists noted that they attempted to meet with Shymyrova by visiting her workplace in the village of Asa, but were unable to find her there. However, they did discover the same Haval car in the court building's car park.
Meanwhile, during the celebration of Akhmetzhanov's birthday, a KIA car belonging to the regional department of state revenue was spotted near the restaurant.
