Relatives of officer Darkhan Daulet, who was found dead in a military unit in Zharkent, Zhetysu region, claim that he was killed by conscript soldiers.
According to KTK, the victim's aunt Gulmira Sabyrova stated that the officer was strangled.
"During unscheduled classes on anti-sabotage security of facilities, Captain Daulet Darkhan died. Preliminarily, from being choked. According to the examination, they showed that a cloth was used to block and choke him", Sabyrova reported.
She also said that she received a message claiming that Darkhan Daulet's hands had been tied and he had been strangled. Later it became known that the officer's body was discovered by a senior lieutenant.
Earlier, as reported, an officer of the Zharkent garrison in the Zhetysu region died during unscheduled classes on anti-sabotage security. It was then stated that as a result of a breach of safety measures, he sustained injuries incompatible with life.
