The Kyzylorda branch of Qazaqgaz Aimaq received an additional fine of 18.3 million tenge for violating legislation on natural monopolies.

According to CentralMedia24.kz, citing the Committee for the Regulation of Natural Monopolies (CRNM), the Kyzylorda branch of QazaqGaz Aimaq was fined a total of 79.6 million tenge for violating legislation on natural monopolies.

It is clarified that the company had previously been fined 61.3 million tenge. In June, a further 18.3 million tenge was added.

The reason was the unjustified imposition of additional requirements on consumers when connecting to gas networks. Specifically, the branch requested documents not stipulated by current legislation. These actions were deemed to violate consumer rights.

According to the CRNM, the company's guilt has been fully proven. All fines have been paid, and the funds have been transferred to the state budget.
