President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev supported proposals from deputies, the medical community and activists to amend legislation with the aim of tightening penalties for attacks on medical workers.
"Incidents of this kind, which cause damage to the health and well-being of our medics, must be resolutely suppressed by legal means in accordance with the principle of 'Law and Order'," reported the President's press secretary, Ruslan Zheldibay, on his Telegram channel.
It has become known that the head of state instructed the government to develop relevant amendments to legislation, which will be sent to Parliament for discussion with the participation of representatives of civil society.
Recall that earlier at the Ministry of Health, with the participation of the head of the department Akkmaral Alnazarova and the chairman of the board of Kazakhtelecom JSC, Bagdat Musin, they discussed digital solutions using artificial intelligence.
The projects concerned issues of improving the safety of medical personnel, expanding the accessibility of medical care for the rural population, and reducing the workload on doctors.
One of these innovations is the introduction of smart video badges to improve the safety of medical workers. It has become known that the technology is already being used on a pilot basis in five ambulance teams in Astana, and a launch in Almaty is planned in the near future.
