In Aktau, police are checking information about an attack on a child at the private kindergarten "Tūmar". According to preliminary data, on 5 August, in the nursery group, one of the pupils beat and strangled a little girl while the institution's staff were absent.
According to the Telegram channel "HALYQSTAN", a video recording from a camera shows the little one screaming and trying to fight back for about 15 minutes, but she is pinned to the bed by her neck, hit, and bitten. There is neither a teacher nor a nanny in the room at the time. For the entire duration of the incident, none of the staff even looked into the room.
According to the parents of the victim, they only found out about what had happened in the evening when they came to pick up their daughter. The girl had a swollen face, bite marks, bruises, and abrasions.
"The video shows my daughter being beaten and strangled. Not a single adult in the room. If she had died — would you only have reacted then?" the girl's mother says.
When the parents demanded the video recording, the kindergarten offered to "resolve the matter without the police."
The victims are pushing for a criminal case to be opened. It is reported that police officers have already viewed the video, but no procedural actions have been taken yet.
For context, it was previously reported that a criminal case is being investigated in Atyrau following an incident at the private kindergarten "Ansar", where a five-year-old girl was injured. The child was hospitalised with serious injuries after her head suddenly began to hurt badly.
The girl's mother received a call from the kindergarten saying her daughter had fallen ill. Representatives of the institution explained this as a fall down the stairs.
However, when the parents requested the CCTV footage, they were told that the cameras were not working at that time. At the hospital, the child was diagnosed with a closed head injury, concussion, and broken arms.
