In Ridder, the working hours of state institutions, enterprises and social services have been adapted to the new time.
According to MIA "Kazinform", the working day in the city now starts at 08:00 and ends at 17:30, with a lunch break from 12:00 to 13:30. Ridder has become the 12th of the 13 administrative units in the East Kazakhstan Region to support the innovation.
It is noted that the operating hours of schools, kindergartens and medical institutions have remained unchanged. In turn, residents have responded positively to the new schedule.
"You no longer have to travel home from work in the dark. Productivity is higher in the first half of the day, and it has become easier to work. <...> The work schedule now aligns better with the nursery timetable. We start earlier and finish earlier, leaving more time for family.", local residents report.
According to the deputy mayor of the city, Bolat Akuzhanov, before introducing the new schedule, the authorities discussed the innovation with the public, who supported the initiative.
Earlier, it was reported that new working hours had been introduced in budgetary and state organisations in the Katon-Karagay District, as well as in the localities of Markakol and Ulyken Naryn in the East Kazakhstan Region.
