Akmara Yespola, sister of Assel Kurmanbayeva (Issabayeva) — the unofficial wife of former president Nursultan Nazarbayev — owns a luxury apartment in Dubai. This is evidenced by data from a large-scale leak of information about property owners in the largest city in the UAE.
According to the Telegram channel "Access to the Sea", the apartment, measuring 150 m², is located in the Paramount Tower Hotel & Residences complex in the Business Bay district. The apartment is on the 40th floor, has three bedrooms, and a terrace of 15 m².
According to estimates from Dubai real estate services, the market value of the apartment in 2025 is approximately 3.5 million dirhams (about 520 million tenge).
It is reported that the Paramount Tower complex was built in 2021 by the China State Construction Engineering Corporation. Floors 15 to 25 are occupied by hotel rooms, and floors 26 to 63 by apartments. On the top floor, the 66th, there is a terrace with a swimming pool.
It has become known that Akmara Yespola is the daughter of academician Tlekte Yespola and, according to available information, the half-sister of Assel Kurmanbayeva (who took her mother's surname).
It is noted that in the early 2010s, Yespola appeared among the co-owners of Central Asian Fuel and Energy Company JSC (CATEC) alongside Alexander Klebanov and Sergey Kan. The company's management structure later changed, and assets were redistributed between Kan and Klebanov.
Furthermore, Akmara Yespola owns the construction company YN LLC, registered in Astana. According to data from the State Revenue Committee, the company is effectively not engaged in active operations — tax revenues are minimal.
Incidentally, in October last year, the media reported that Assel Kurmanbayeva also owns luxury property in Dubai. It was noted that she owns a three-bedroom apartment on the second floor of the AQUAMARINE RESIDENCE-3 complex on Palm Jumeirah Island. The property covers 210 m², and the market value starts from $2 million (over 1 billion tenge).
