The Prosecutor's Office of the Khromtau District in the Aktobe Region uncovered a case of failure to pay wages to 156 employees of LLP «Ońtústik shahta qurylys» amounting to more than 165 million tenge.
"Under the coordination of the prosecutor's office, a meeting was held with the participation of heads of law enforcement agencies, local executive and authorised bodies of the district, to which the management of JSC «TNK «KazChrom» and the founder of the LLP were also invited", the statement says.
According to the press service of the department, the measures taken led to the repayment of the wage arrears.
In another case, the Prosecutor's Office of the Shalkar District found that SPE «Uly Borsyk» had wage arrears to 519 employees of more than 48 million tenge. Based on the prosecutor's supervision act, the debt was repaid.
Earlier, as reported, state labour inspectors had identified since the beginning of the year wage arrears amounting to 4.4 billion tenge owed to 18,700 employees of enterprises across the country.
In August, it was reported that employees of kindergartens in the Khromtau and Uil Districts of the Aktobe Region had not received salary supplements that were supposed to have been paid from 2022 to 2024.
At the same time, it was also reported that in the Zerenda District of the Akmola Region, a state enterprise had not paid salaries to 943 employees. The debt amounted to 397 million tenge.
In November, school librarians in the Zhambyl Region stated that they had not been paid a supplement for two months. They claimed that their salaries had decreased by 35% since September.
Later, the prosecutor's office of the capital's Yesil district found that RSE «Zhasyl Aimak» had not paid wages for September to more than 600 employees totalling 144 million tenge.
In early December, the Prosecutor's Office of the Temir District in the Aktobe Region uncovered a case of delayed payment of wages at SPE «Shubarkudyk zhylu». It became known that 87 employees had not received more than 8.5 million tenge.
