Information is circulating online that the son-in-law of former president Nursultan Nazarbayev - Timur Kulibayev owns an estate in the Spanish town of Mont-Roch Bahía with an area of nearly 4.5 hectares.
According to the Telegram channel "Access to the Sea", its estimated value is around €10 million (5.3 billion tenge). Compared to neighbouring houses, Kulibayev's residence stands out due to its two-level concrete fence and metal mesh with barbed wire.
It is noted that the main villa has an area of over 800 m². The grounds include several guesthouses, parking spaces, and an open-air swimming pool. There is also a separate cottage for security and staff.
It has become known that Kulibayev owns this asset through the Spanish company "Diada Investment & Real Estate SL", a subsidiary of the Kazakh LLP "Verus Praedium International".

"The property is registered under the Spanish company Domymar Quality. Its sole owner since its founding in 2018 is Askar Kulibayev. According to the audit report, the company's balance sheet contains only one asset — this house — with a book value of €1.285 million or 637 million tenge", the message states.
It has also become known that Timur Kulibayev's business partner - Jambulat Sarsenov owns a modern clinic in Barcelona and a villa on the grounds of the Camiral Golf & Wellness golf club.
