Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of National Economy Serik Zhumangarin stated that this year the Astana International Forum 2025 will be organised exclusively using sponsor funds.
According to the press service of the Ministry of National Economy, funds from the state budget were previously allocated for this event, but this year the relevant resolution has been cancelled.
"All costs for organising the forum will be covered by sponsor contributions, and no budget funds will be allocated for its holding", the statement reads.
Recall that in May of last year, it was reported that 1.44 billion tenge was planned to be allocated for the Astana International Forum in 2024, 1.95 billion tenge in 2025, 2.34 billion tenge in 2026 and 2.81 billion tenge in 2027.
