The Prosecutor's Office of the Turkestan Region has uncovered the illegal provision, registration of plots and their removal from state ownership.
According to the press service of the department, in the Sauran district, agricultural land covering an area of 2,000 hectares was registered to private individuals on the basis of forged documents. Subsequently, their designated purpose was changed for commercial use.
As a result of the illegal actions, the state suffered damages amounting to 320 million tenge. The police have launched two pre-trial investigations.
Meanwhile, in the Tolebi district, 23 cases of illegal land allocation, changes to their designated purpose, and extension of lease periods without a decision from the land commission were identified.
In the same district, 39 plots were transferred to private ownership which were not developed within the established timeframe.
"Based on these facts, acts of prosecutorial supervision have been issued, the materials have been registered in the CRI (Crime Records Index) of the prosecutor's office and transferred to the Anti-Corruption Department for procedural decisions", the statement said.
It was noted that from January to March of this year, based on the acts of the regional prosecutor's office, land with a cadastral value exceeding 2 billion tenge was returned to the state.
Recall that previously, the Department for Land Resources Management of the Ulytau Region inspected an LLP in the Ulytau district and identified 90,000 hectares of pastures that had been unused for an extended period.
The partnership was issued an order to develop the plot, but the requirements were not met within the established timeframe. The department filed a lawsuit in court for the compulsory seizure of the land.
