The prosecutor's office of Karazhal in the Ulytau region uncovered a fact of embezzlement of budget funds by the accountant of the kindergarten "Baldyrgan" in the village of Zhairem.
According to the press service of the department, the accountant unreasonably transferred inflated salaries to the accounts of employees. The total amount of illegally transferred funds amounted to 15.9 million tenge.
The court found the kindergarten accountant guilty under p.2 part 4 of Article 189 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan "Misappropriation or embezzlement of entrusted another's property" and sentenced her to 8 years suspended imprisonment. She was also banned for 10 years from engaging in accounting and other activities related to the financing of organisations and enterprises.
Recall that earlier the prosecutor's office of the Beineu district of the Mangystau region uncovered that the director and accountant of the kindergarten "Kuiken" illegally transferred parents' fees for their children to their own accounts. As a result, the state suffered damage amounting to more than 12 million tenge.
