JSC «IC «Freedom Finance Insurance», part of «Freedom Holding Corp.», lost a court case to the state enterprise «Қазарнаулыэкспорт».
According to the press service of the Almaty prosecutor's office, department staff secured the overturning of a decision to refuse satisfaction of the claim by RSE «Қазарнаулыэкспорт» against JSC «IC «Freedom Finance Insurance», owned by businessman Timur Turlov.
The case concerned an insurance payment for unfulfilled obligations of LLP «Kaz-NJ» under a state procurement contract for the supply of parachute equipment.
«The appellate judicial panel of the Almaty City Court decided to oblige JSC «IC «Freedom Finance Insurance» to pay the insured sum in the amount of 694 million tenge», the statement says.
The company has paid the specified amount in full.
