In the Zerenda district of the Akmola region, a state enterprise failed to pay wages to 943 employees.
According to the regional prosecutor's office press service, the enterprise owed its employees 397 million tenge.
"Following a supervisory order, the debt has been paid in full and those responsible have been held to disciplinary account. Thus, the constitutional rights of these citizens have been protected," the department reported.
It was previously reported that in the Akmola region, prosecutors uncovered a case of unpaid wages to employees of the state municipal enterprise "Burabay Su Arnasy". For January this year, 205 workers at the enterprise were not paid wages totalling 26,784,770 tenge.
Furthermore, it was reported that employees of kindergartens in the Khromtau and Uil districts of the Aktobe region did not receive salary supplements that should have been paid to them from 2022 to 2024.
