Anticor has warned Kazakh citizens about fraudsters who create fake accounts in messengers, allegedly belonging to representatives of the Anti-Corruption Agency, and distribute false information.
According to the agency, the fraudsters send files of specially fabricated documents bearing the Anticor logo. The Agency has asked citizens not to trust the fake messages, not to click on suspicious links, and not to transfer money.
"If you receive such calls or messages, please immediately report these incidents to the law enforcement agencies of the Republic of Kazakhstan", the statement said.
Earlier, the Agency for Financial Monitoring (AFM) reported cases of phone fraud in which criminals posed as employees of the agency.
Furthermore, the official representative of the ministry, Shyngys Ilyasov, reported that unknown individuals had gained access to the personal messengers of the leadership of the Ministry of Energy.
