Head of Ogneuporsnab LLP, Azamat Murghazin, recorded a video address to President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and the Prosecutor General Berik Asylov, in which he claims that a criminal case has been fabricated against his company. According to the businessman, he has an instruction from the Prosecutor General's Office to drop the unlawful case, but the Kostanay Regional Prosecutor's Office is ignoring it.

In the address, the businessman stated that he has an instruction from the Prosecutor General's Office dated 24 May 2025, addressed to the First Deputy Prosecutor of Kostanay Region, Bauyrzhan Bekbosynov.
According to him, the four-page document substantiates that the criminal case opened against him by the Department of Economic Investigations is unlawful.
"The case lacks any evidence and any corpus delicti. There is no actual damage. But despite this, the instruction, which sets a deadline of 29 May 2025 to drop the criminal case and bring disciplinary action against officials, has been ignored," the message states.
Murghazin appealed to the First Deputy Prosecutor General Timur Tashimbayev and the Head of the Investigation Department Sanat Tolkymbayev, noting that their signatures on the document have also remained unfulfilled.
"My rights as a small and medium-sized entrepreneur are not protected. I call on the Prosecutor General's Office to carry out its own instructions and enforce the requirements on the territorial supervisory body of Kostanay Region," the businessman stressed.
In conclusion, he addressed the head of state:
"Kassym-Jomart Kemelovich, you guaranteed us freedom of enterprise and protection of business. I ask you to intervene in this situation, to protect my business and myself from a fabricated criminal case aimed at eliminating me as a competitor at the hands of law enforcement agencies," declared Azamat Murghazin.
