In the Aktobe region, several developers have been brought to criminal responsibility.
According to the press service of the regional prosecutor's office, the director of Andora Construction LLP, without obtaining permission from the local executive body to attract money from equity holders, used fictitious contracts to sell apartments to 25 citizens for 313 million tenge.
Court No. 2 of Atyrau found the company director guilty and sentenced him to 5 years in prison.
For similar offences, the directors of Nazik Group LLP and the founders of the housing construction cooperatives Atameken Turǵyn Úı, Family Town, and Baisanat Residence were also convicted.
Furthermore, as part of prosecutorial supervision this year, two developers were brought to administrative responsibility, with fines totalling 1 million tenge.
It will be recalled that in early October, it became known that in Astana, law enforcement officers are investigating criminal cases against 12 developers.
Shortly before that, it was reported that in the West Kazakhstan region, fraudulent developers used deceptive schemes to obtain money from citizens without intending to fulfil their obligations. The damage caused by their actions amounted to 490.8 million tenge.
And in the Kostanay region, due to violations in the field of public procurement, an unscrupulous contractor returned almost 90 million tenge to the state.
