From 2 October to 31 December, Balkhash airfield will not be used for the take-off and landing of civilian aircraft.
According to the Telegram channel «Berkut 001», the reason is the expired validity of the certificate of the so-called airfield operator.
At the same time, the validity of airfield certificates will also expire for the following airports in Kazakhstan:
- Astana Airport — 24 December 2024;
- Kostanay Airport — 25 October 2024;
- Urzhar Airport — 29 November 2024.
