The tourist information centre of the department of entrepreneurship and industrial-innovative development of the East Kazakhstan region held a tender on the public procurement portal for a tour for bloggers worth 10 million tenge

According to Ratel.kz, following the review of applications, the winner was the company ProRafting, whose staff are to organise and conduct an informational tour for bloggers and the media in the East Kazakhstan region.

The technical specification states that the five-day event is planned to take place in December in Ust-Kamenogorsk and Ridder, as well as in the Glubokoye and Ulan districts.

The participants will include 15 people, among whom must be:

  • at least eight popular Kazakhstani travel bloggers;
  • at least one foreign blogger;
  • at least one representative of national media covering the tourism sector.

"The supplier must provide screenshots or links to social media accounts (Instagram, TikTok). The number of followers on Instagram for each travel blogger must be at least 50,000. Furthermore, the bloggers' content must be in the state language, Russian, and English. The supplier is obliged to pay the fees approved by the client to the tour participants", the documentation states.

It has become known that each blogger must publish at least one post on Instagram about the event, tagging the client's official page, and also post at least 10 stories on social media.

It is expected that in Ust-Kamenogorsk, the influencers will visit a private house museum of folk crafts and the embankments.

In the Glubokoye district, they will visit ski resorts, an eco-hotel, recreation centres, and a workshop for bottling honey drink.

In Ridder, it is planned that they will visit three recreation centres, a ski resort, and three restaurants. In the Ulan district, the tour participants will go to the Sibin Lakes.

For context, in March, the Almaty Tourism Bureau published a notice for the procurement of services to organise press tours for 50 foreign bloggers. 89,285,710 tenge was to be spent on this.

Last year, the Almaty Tourism Bureau had already published a similar notice. At that time, the akimat invited 30 bloggers and spent 60 million tenge on the event.
