It has been reported that the bridge was opened in 1985, its length is 305 metres, and its width is 14 metres.
The Atyrau Akimat stated that specialists from the city's department of passenger transport and highways have already been dispatched to the scene to carry out an inspection.
"Based on the results of the inspection, a decision will be made on carrying out repair works, either with or without restrictions on road traffic, about which further information will be provided", the press service of the Atyrau Akimat reported.
Recall that in January in Almaty, on the turning bridge on Raiymbek Batyr Street, a joint separated. Obvious defects were visible to the naked eye.
The size of the resulting gap was more than 10 cm. Also, in one place, the fastenings of the crash barrier had come loose. It was reported that repairs to the structure were planned for this year.
